I just learned of Judge Tafuri’s passing. I worked with him as his courtroom clerk in Suffolk County District Court.  What a great guy. Always treated everyone with respect. He was very much loved by everyone in District Court and from the family photos posted he was obviously surrounded by a loving family! May God Bless him and the Tafuri family!

  Andy was always the gentleman.  We had such good times with him and Dolores during our annual visits to Bermuda.  He always had a good story, and a smile on his face.  My condolences to Dolores, his sons and family.  May he rest in peace.

What a great guy great lawyer Jurist and friend. Andy introduced me to my eventual law partner where we successfully practiced law down the block from Andy and Bill eventually buying there building when Andy took the Bench.  He touched so many lives in a positive way  and there is no better legacy in life than that. God Bless Dolores and the whole Tafuri family.

Andy was an excellent lawyer and judge. He was like a brother to me. We had many fun times together in high school, college and business. I will miss him dearly.

We will  always remember Andy as a true gentleman - but also a good sport to all our shenanigans in Bermuda, at the various Reefs reunions, and our group trip to Italy! Based on our experiences, he certainly had a full and satisfying  professional, family and social life. But he will be sadly missed! Our deepest sympathy to Dolores and the rest of his family.

I had the privilege to serve Andy as my customer for many years and he was my Attorney when I bought my home in 1991.  He was a true professional and I was honored to know him.  Condolences to the Tafuri family.  Rest in peace Andy.




We have wonderful memories of times shared with Andy and Dolores -- in Bermuda, our first trip to Italy, and lots of fun reunions.  We are truly blessed to have been able to count him as a friend.  So sorry for your loss.
