
James was born in the Bronx. He was married to the love of his life, Caren, for 37 wonderful years, and together they built a life full of love, laughter, and shared memories.
A master carpenter and mechanic, James was known for his remarkable skill and unwavering dedication to his work. His hands created and repaired, and his passion for craftsmanship extended to every aspect of his life. James had a deep love for animals, especially dogs and horses, and they were an important part of his world.
James was a man who appreciated the simple pleasures in life—whether it was reading the funnies, watching the news on TV, or enjoying quiet moments with those he loved. He was a warm and thoughtful person, whose loyalty and punctuality were beyond compare. His respect for others was evident in everything he did, and his presence brought comfort and stability to those who knew him.
James is survived by his beloved wife, Caren, and by children: Jessica Ann and Casey Ann; grandchildren: Crystal and Thomas; great-grandchildren: James, Aria, Remi, Daxtyn; Siblings: Jerry and Brian. James was predeceased by his siblings: Ann Lucas Elko, and Kenneth Lucas; his children: Elizabeth Ann, Tomas and Ann.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. James' memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication.
James leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and loyalty that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
