Joan Marie Burton, 80, of North Babylon passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017. Joan was born in New York City on November 21, 1936 to the late Bernard and Winifred Murray. She was one of nine children. On September 17, 1960 Joan married the late William Burton; they were married for 42 years. Joan loved to play left/right/center, take road trips to Atlantic City, and spend time with her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, a beloved grandmother and a wonderful sister. Joan leaves her 3 sons, Brian, Billy, and Kevin, 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, her siblings and a bunch of nieces and nephews to cherish her loving memory.
