

Joanne Keating (nee Marchese), 88, of Brightwaters, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Keating, in 2013. Devoted mother of Craig Keating and Tiffany Little. Adored Nani of Brandon Diem, Madison Diem, and Cody Diem. Cherished sister of Debbie, Bess, and the late Lela, Carol, Marg, and John.
Joanne was the heart and soul of her family. She loved nothing more than gathering her loved ones around the table for family dinners, where her cooking brought comfort, joy, and togetherness. Her home was a place where everyone felt welcome and cared for.
She will be remembered for her warm heart, generosity, and thoughtful nature. Joanne was always considerate of others, putting their needs before her own and offering kindness wherever she went. She had a special gift for making people feel loved, valued, and included. Joanne added sparkle to everyone and everything she touched. Her presence brought light to family gatherings, comfort during difficult times, and happiness to everyday moments. Joanne's love, grace, and devotion to her family shaped the lives of all who knew her. While our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the 88 years of love, wisdom, and care she shared with us. She leaves behind countless cherished memories and a legacy of kindness that will live on through those she loved. Her greatest joy was her family, and her greatest gift was the love she gave so freely.
