John Colombo

John Colombo, 88, of Bethpage, formerly of Farmingdale, entered into Eternal Life on Friday, July 25, 2025. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan, in 2017. Devoted father of Carol Kellar and her husband, Tony, Maria Waldeck and her husband, Jimmy, and Cathy Huber and her husband, Bob. Adored Poppy of Denise (Andy), Anthony (Gianna), Jennifer (Billy), John (Leslie), Brianna, Christopher, Michael and Caitlyn. Predeceased by his beloved grandchildren, Joseph and Robert. Dear great-grandfather of Ally, Natalia, Alyssa, A.J., Joseph, Lia, and Autumn. John was a proud U.S. Army veteran and a union painter in New York City before his retirement. He was also an active member of the Massapequa Elks Lodge. The patriarch of the Colombo family, John will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched.
