John E. Crowe III, age 71, of North Babylon, New York passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023. He was an avid JETS fan. In his leisure, he enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family. He also liked to cook, especially making homemade ravioli with his grandchildren. He leaves his family with many, many wonderful memories and will be greatly missed.
John is survived by his son and significant other John E. Crowe IV & Melissa; his daughter and son-in-law Tracie L Shorr & Rob Asner; and his son and daughter-in-law Nicholas H. & Lorrie Crowe; his brother & sister-in-law Richard & Rosemaria, his brother & sister-in-law Anthony & Donna and his brother & sister-in-law Kenneth & Caroline; his grandchildren Shannon, Mary, Jake, Ava, Alexa, Rosalie, Delaney.
John was preceded in death by his father and mother John E. Crowe & Elizabeth Fischitti; and his granddaughter Lyla.
A visitation for John will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Monday, September 11, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, 455 Hunter Ave, West Islip, New York 11795. An interment will occur Monday, September 11, 2023, at 12:00 PM at St. Patrick Cemetery, 225 Brentwood Rd, Bay Shore, NY 11706.
