John G. Guglielmo, 88, of Babylon, formerly of Brooklyn, entered into Eternal Life on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Proud U.S. Army Veteran. Predeceased in 2025 by his beloved wife of 50 years, Helen E. Guglielmo (nee Elliott). Devoted father of John (Patty), Harry (Maria), James (Sondra), Christopher (Yolanda), Maureen Nicolazzi (James), & Elizabeth Brodmerkel (Dennis), and the late Robert. Adored grandfather of Melissa McTurk (Kyle), Christina Pashayan (Christopher), Rae-Anne Muller (Tom), Tyler Brodmerkel, Grace Guglielmo, Alex Brodmerkel, Liana Guglielmo, Nora Guglielmo, James Guglielmo, Michael Guglielmo, and Andrew Guglielmo. Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Mary (nee Tomao), and his brother, Joseph. Before his retirement, John was a devoted elementary school educator in the Brentwood School District. In his retirement years, John was an avid fisherman, enjoyed his trips to the Babylon docks and Robert Moses Beach, loved woodworking, reading, and playing board games. Most of all, he enjoyed the times he spent with his family. John will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched.
