Anyone who knew him could also attest to the fact that he was an incredible friend.
He was an active member of the community, leading and volunteering in several initiatives, coaching several sports teams throughout his kids’ lacrosse tenures, and a very exuberant fan on the sidelines. He was a proud member of the FDNY. John was an Ex-Chief and proud member of North Babylon Fire Company for over 43 years. He served as a Babylon Village Bay Constable and was a member of the North Babylon Lions Club. His craftsmanship was impeccable, his designs and work can be seen throughout Long Island and the 5 boroughs. His selfless nature and larger than life personality made all who had the pleasure to be in his company, a better person. His presence will be forever missed, but his family takes comfort in the knowledge that he will be eternally with us.
