Joseph Michael Gruenfelder, 69, of North Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on Friday, July 31, 2026. Beloved husband of 44 years of Patricia (nee Henriquez). Devoted father of Eric (Kaitlin), Kalynn (Matt), and Ryan (Alexandria). Adored grandfather of Logan and Luke. Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Catherine (Carney), and his siblings, Michael, Dolores, Kenny, Charlie, and John. Proud US Navy Veteran and Union Carpenter. He loved reading, rooting for the NY Giants, fishing, watching movies and TV shows, especially Science Fiction and Westerns, but most of all, spending time with his children and grandsons.
