Lisa, I just found out today about Joe’s passing. I am incredibly sorry for your loss. You both were always so good to me when I lived at 454 those 11 years. My thoughts and prayers stay with you. He was a great man and husband. Trish

Joe was Rhonda, my wife's boss, but through the years became more of a friend than a boss. His dry wit always had us laughing, along with the kind words he expressed to me about Rhonda I have great memories . Along with his dear second in command, Lisa,  we always enjoyed being in their company.  The light always dims when someone special leaves this Earth, and it certainly dimmed alot. My love and heart to Lisa and the rest if the Maghio family. 

Chuck and I were so fortunate to have known Joe.    He was a wonderful guy and anyone who ever met him loved him.   Joe always found the time to chat with us.    We will miss his smiling face.  Heaven has gained another angel.  Rest in Jesus’ arms Joe. 



Life isn’t fair.  The best of us are often gone way too soon.  And Joe certainly was one of the best of us.  When he came by with his wife Lisa to her mom and dad’s house next door to us, I would enjoy having a chat with Joe over the backyard fence.  We both loved photography and nature and I used to rub it into Joe since I was able to attract Hummingbirds to my yard and he had been trying to do so for quite a while without success.  We would a good laugh over it.  Yes, Joe had an easy laugh and a love of life, and especially a love of Lisa that was so clear to see.  They were the perfect couple.  When my first Hummingbirds arrive in a week or so, I will look up to the Heavens and say, “My Hummingbirds are back, and I know you sent them.  Thanks, Joe!”  

Joe, from the first day I met you and Lisa at your vacation home across the street from me in Florida, I liked you. You were larger than life in personality and had a energy and enthusiasm for life that came through in everything you did or talked about...from going to dinner with Lisa at your favorite place by the beach, or bringing me fresh strawberries that were just picked and warm from the sun..your exuberance for life showed...you went way before your time...and my heart breaks for your sweet wife Lisa, who you were so obviously in love with. May memories comfort her and your large, extended family. The world is a little colder without you...

Soo sorry for your loss lisa- joe and I worked together for close to 30 years. He was known to my crew as general patton- a tough but fair man .
I still remember on the first job when we were kids I said to joe don’t you ever have anything nice to say, his reply was I’m not ur father bob !! We laughed for years together about that . 

He will be sorely missed rip - general

Oh the memories we all had all through those years in High School . Words cannot express how sad our group of friends are they knew you and love you . We still cannot believe that you are gone due to this horrendous CoVID 19. You will always be in our hearts ♥️. You had many talents esp wildlife photography. I’m so sorry for your wife ( and your pets ) and your family you left behind . May you and Richie C , fly high now reunited in heaven again 🌠 .  Say hi to Thea for me too . I haven't seen Joe for many years but was very sorry to hear of his passing, as were all my brothers and sisters.  
My brother Dennis and I were closer in age and friendship with Mark and Cathy Maggio, but the entire Maggio family were some of the nicest people we ever knew.  Joe was always a very good guy, no doubt taking after his lovely Mom and Dad.  Please accept my sincerest condolences and best wishes to the entire family.
