Kerry Dennis O’Keeffe

Kerry was a hardworking and dedicated Oxygen Technician with Beacon Medaes in South Carolina. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic. But those who knew Kerry best will remember him not only for how hard he worked, but for the joy, laughter, and happiness he brought wherever he went.

Kerry had a true passion for sports. Competitive by nature, he loved the excitement and thrill that sports brought to his life. He especially enjoyed playing golf and softball with friends whom he considered family. He also loved watching his favorite sports teams and cheering them on.

Kerry was, without a doubt, the life of the party. Any room he walked into seemed to light up, quickly filling with laughter, happiness, and joy. He was a natural jokester with a bubbly and humorous personality, and wherever Kerry was, you could be sure that people were smiling and laughing. His loyal and kind heart made him beloved by both friends and strangers alike. He was generous to everyone he encountered and had a special way of making people feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for.

Above all, Kerry cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. Being surrounded by the people he loved most—and knowing how deeply they loved him—meant everything to him. Those moments together were priceless, and he would not have traded them for anything.

Kerry will be deeply missed by his mother, Gloria Santos, and stepfather, Peter Santos; remembered with love by his siblings, Trisha, Damien, and Erin; cherished by his nieces and nephews, Antonio, Victoria, Addison, Rachel, and Derek; and lovingly remembered by his beloved girlfriend, Anne Marie Cappellino. He will also be deeply missed by his many family members and friends whose lives were made brighter simply by knowing him.

Kerry leaves behind a lifetime of laughter, unforgettable memories, and a legacy of kindness, loyalty, generosity, and love. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him, but the happiness he brought into their lives will remain in their hearts forever. His laughter, his jokes, his competitive spirit, and his ability to make everyone around him smile will never be forgotten.

A visitation will be held in the Frederick Room at Claude R. Boyd–Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702, on September 16, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and again from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
