Kevin Joseph Allen, 73, of West Babylon, New York, entered into eternal rest on July 31, 2026. Born October 7, 1952, in Astoria, New York, Kevin will be remembered with deep gratitude and abiding love by all who were blessed to know him.
Throughout his life, Kevin carried himself with a quiet steadiness—devoted in the ways that mattered most, faithful in heart and practice, and gentle in spirit. A professional musician, he was a hard-working man whose constancy and care were felt not in grand display, but in the dependable presence he offered to those around him. In countless ordinary moments, he made life better simply by being there, and he will remain cherished in the memories of family and friends.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Arlene M. Allen; his daughters, Kerrianne MacEwen and Jerilyn M. Allen; His Sister; and a special cousin, Gregory Mills.
Visitation will be held at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Homes, Frederick Room, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702, on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. and in the evening from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 455 Hunter Ave, West Islip, NY 11795, on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 10:30 am.
Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735, on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 12:15 pm.
