Mom, you gave us life and loved us unconditionally. You were the glue that kept our family together. You never seemed to worry about anything, even when you had just cause to do so. Instead, you woke everyday with a smile and kindness to all. You taught me to be generous and willing to help those in need, to treat everyone equally. I was blessed to have you for my mother and my children were blessed to have you for their grandmother. You were the most gracious person I have ever known and I will miss you every day. I love you always.

Christopher, my deepest sympathy and condolances. She was an extraordinary person loved by many and very well taken care of by her family. I am so happy I got a chance to see her a final time this summer. I will never forget the generous, warm and caring way she opened your home to me as a lost teenager and turned my experience of the US and your family as one of the brightest memories of my life πŸ’•πŸ’πŸ’•
