Louis C. Lucas

Louis C. Lucas of North Babylon, NY on November 1, 2020 at Age 96. Predeceased by his wife, Ingeborg of 50 years. Devoted father of Dolores (Nicky), Diana (Bob), Steven (Denise) and Donna. Loving Pop-Pop to his 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was a special friend to Lil Lang and had many other wonderful family members and friends. Born January 14, 1924. Served in the US Army during World War II and was at the Battle of the Bulge. Purple Heart Recipient. Continued his service in the Air Force until his retirement in 1963. Distinguished career with the Suffolk County Sheriffs Department until his retirement in 1985. He enjoyed his summer home in Paradox Lake, NY and his winter home in Indialantic, FL. A celebration of his life will be held at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY on Thursday, November 12, 2020, 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 pm. Memorial Service Thursday evening, 8:00pm, at the funeral home. Innichment, with U.S. Air Force Military Honors, will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Long Island National Cemetery 2040 Wellwood Avenue Farmingdale, at 11 am.
