Proto, Lucy (nee Portuese), 82 of Moriches, formerly of West Babylon. Beloved wife of Crispin for 62 years. Loving mother of Francine Proto (Steve Bookbinder), Christopher Proto DDS (Monica McArdle) and Angela Gray LoCascio ( John LoCascio). Cherished grandmother of Brittany, Andrew, Chelsea, Nicole, and Johnny. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Retired secretary at Tooker Avenue School in West Babylon and an active member of the Friends of the Center Moriches Library. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
