Midge's family, including brother Fred and sister Phyllis, moved to Amityville and later settled in Babylon, NY. Midge graduated from Babylon high school in 1954. Soon after graduation she met George Klein at the local watering hole, Cod Fish Bobs. They fell in love and married on January 15, 1955.
Midge's first born is Constance Jo, followed by Debra Lynn and Kenneth George. Kenny sadly passed away at the age of 10 months. This tragedy, with the help of family and friends, drew our family closer. Connie and Debbie each had a son, Jake Robert and Jesse George respectively. The grandsons were the light of her life.
While Midge worked as a bookkeeper and bus driver, her most rewarding accomplishment was that of a Mother and Grandmother extraordinaire.
After a long illness Midge's husband George sadly died in 1983. Midge was a strong woman and her life continued to thrive surrounded by the love and support of family and friends. Midge did find love again with her long time friend Charles Reeves Jr. of Babylon, NY. They enjoyed close to 30 years of love and adventure together. In the words of Charlie "Midge and I always had a damn good time."
