Margaret "Peggy" Nickerson

Margaret Mary Nickerson, 90, formerly of The Bronx, Freeport, Massapequa, and Port Orange, Florida, entered into Eternal Life on July 22, 2025. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Theodore A. Nickerson, in 2013. Devoted mother of Tedd A. Nickerson and his wife, Lisa J. Nickerson, and Joanne M. Morris and her husband, John P. Morris. Adored Nana of Matthew R. Morris and Melissa R. Morris. Predeceased by her cherished siblings, Mary, Ann, Catherine, William, and Thomas. Margaret was an executive secretary in the financial and engineering industries before her retirement. She enjoyed going to the casino to play the slots and then bingo in her later years. Margaret will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that she touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Sunday, July 27, 2025, 2:00 PM-4:30 PM & 7:00 PM-9:00 PM. Funeral service 10:30 AM Monday, July 28, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton, NY.
