Mariechen Buck of Bohema, NY passed peacefully on Feb 18th, 2021, age 82. Pre-deceased by her loving husband, John of 60 years on Nov 1, 2020. Born Oese, Germany March 25th , 1938 to the late Georg and Margaret Kuhlewind. Loving mother of Susan (Bob) , John (Pam) and Doug (Rita). Dear Oma to Keith, Eric, Amanda, Stephen, Mat and Azia. Caring sister to the late Heinrich Kuhlewind (Mariechen) and Christa Brunges (Martin). Her love and warmth for family and friends will be missed always.

Auf Wiedersehen Mariechen , We are broken hearted ,with tears in our hearts . We will miss your wonderful smile and loving personality . Always holding out a helping hand when ever needed . One of the memories was the construction of the new home out in Stony Brook . I was doing the electrical work on the house ,but Mom would always ask my advice for different phases ok the construction . Kind of like partners in crime LOL i was working in the family room when Mom comes in and ask ARTIE WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT WINDOWS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE FIREPLACE. i of course reply THAT WOULD LOOK FABULOUS MARIECHEN. as Dad comes walking into the room precisely at that moment . THAT'S IT BETWEEN YOU AND MY WIFE I'LL BE BROKE ,you 2 are spending all my money . LOL
We will miss you both ,you are John are walking in GODS GARDEN now . In Loving Memory

Dear Susan,John, Douglas and family,
Your Mother and father were a big part im my childhood years. It was always so much fun to go visit them with my parents. I remember how generous Mom was to throw me a beautiful baby shower around the pool in your Babylon home. Tante Marie was always so thoughtful and caring.
My deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mom...you are all in my prayers.
