Marilyn Davis

Maggie grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and attended James Madison High School. She

graduated from Syracuse University, and raised her family on Long Island. Maggie was a

devoted Yankees fan, rooting for them after the Brooklyn Dodgers left for California. Maggie

loved being on the water, dancing and working out. Up until four years ago, she could be found

most days at Gold’s Gym in Islip taking classes, tap dancing, and socializing with her friends.

Maggie was a true “theater person” with a keen sense of what new shows would become hits.

She organized friends for theater outings on Long Island and Manhattan, and was a devoted

“Hamilton” fan, well before it became a sensation.

Maggie was the beloved wife of the late William Norman Davis. She is survived by daughters

Jessica Davis (Laura) of Miami Beach, Florida and Elissa Hartwick (Randy) of Phoenix, Arizona,

and son Adam Davis (Zeza) of Queens, New York. Maggie was also the loving step-grandmother

of Jessica (Jessy) and adoring step great-grandmother of Ethan and Niko.
