Mary Bridget Catania

was born August 28th 1962 to William and Mary Reilly. Their generosity and kindness inspired her to lead a life defined by helping others. On St. Patrick’s Day 1990, Mary wed the love of her life Michael Angelo Catania. Together they raised three children, Michael, Sadie and Bridget Mary. Mary and her five siblings, William Reilly, James Reilly, Thomas Reilly, Kathleen Reilly and Patricia Driscoll always remained close. Through hosting countless family gatherings she became a second mother to her nieces and nephews.

Over Mary’s thirty eight years as a special educator and administrator she helped countless students and colleagues reach their full potential. Mary approached teaching the same way she approached everything, with love and determination. Over her career she forged lifelong friendships and the impact she had was immeasurable.

Mary loved spending time at the beach with her husband, children and beagle Copper. She loved reading, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She always put others before herself. To know her was to love her. She will be sorely missed.
