Matteo Pinello

Matteo Pinello, 78, of Lindenhurst, entered into Eternal Life on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. The son of the late Giuseppe and Caterina (Drago) Pinello, Matteo was born in Palermo, Italy, on June 24, 1948. At the age of 23, Matteo came with his family from the island of Sicily to settle in the United States of America. Beloved by his family, with a glint in his eye at the sight of money, Matteo was a joy in the life of his siblings and their children who survive him. He is survived by his adoring siblings, Maria (the late Salvatore), Nancy (the late Michael), Gaetano (Grace), and Anthony (Franca). Also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. Matteo will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W.
