Natalie Marie Gonzalez

Natalie was a woman who lived life with her whole heart. She was known for her vibrant, full-of-life personality, her resilience, her hard work, and, above all, the love and devotion she gave so freely to her family and friends.

Natalie met her husband, Rafael, at Electric Avenue, a disco club. Together over 28 years of marriage, they built a life filled with laughter, love, memories, and family. Natalie was a devoted and loving wife and mother, and her family meant everything to her. Her selfless nature and willingness to put the people she loved before herself could be seen in everything she did.

She loved watching The Voice, watching all the young voices who were courageous enough to do something like that, and especially loved watching it alongside her daughter.

With the right music, she loved to dance and feel the rhythm that music had to offer. She especially loved the old-school dancing clubs and often wished they were still around so she could once again enjoy the atmosphere and energy they brought her.

Natalie found joy in the simple moments of life. She loved walking along the beach, feeling the sand beneath her feet, listening to the waves, and collecting shells along the shore.

Natalie also expressed her love through cooking. She loved preparing meals for her family and friends, always taking the time and effort to make something special for the people she cared about. No matter what dish she prepared, those who enjoyed her cooking knew it was made with love.

Natalie’s passion for beauty and creativity led her to a career as a hairdresser. Whether working at Cactus Salon in Deer Park or doing hair for family and friends, Natalie found genuine happiness in making others feel good about themselves. A few cuts, a new style, or a little hair color could bring a smile to someone’s face, and seeing that happiness in her clients’ eyes was what made her work so meaningful. She loved her clients like family, and they loved her just as much.

Natalie was a strong and resilient woman who worked hard for the people she loved. She gave of herself without hesitation and made an impact on so many lives through her warmth, generosity, humor, and love.

But above everything else, Natalie was a wife, mother, and family woman. Her greatest joy was the people she loved. Her presence brought laughter and warmth into the lives of those around her, and the love she gave will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, clients, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Natalie will be remembered with endless love by her husband, Rafael; her children, Rafael Jordan (RJ) Gonzalez and Natalia S. Gonzalez; and her honorary children, James Pittman, Robert D. Pittman, Anthony D. Pittman, and Natalie M. Pittman.

She will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Robert Pittman Jr.; Loretta Falci and her family; Annamarie Pittman; Debbie Pittman and her family; as well as her parents, Loretta Pittman and Robert M. Pittman.

Natalie was predeceased by her beloved brother and sister, Billy Pittman and Bobbi Jo Pittman. Though they are no longer with us, Natalie’s memory will continue to live on alongside the love and memories shared by Billy, Bobbi Jo and their families.

Natalie will be deeply missed and forever loved. Her memory will live on through the stories shared, the music that reminds us of her, the meals made with love, the laughter she brought into a room, and, most importantly, the family she cherished with all her heart.

Visitation will be held at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702, on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and again from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
