Nicholas Chiaino

Nicholas Chiaino, 93, of Lindenhurst, formerly of Uniondale and Greenpoint, Brooklyn, entered into Eternal Life on December 31, 2022. Beloved husband of 69 years of Laura (nee Savino). Devoted father of Alfred Chiaino (Roseanne) and Marie Jilling (Frank). Adored Poppy of Steven Jilling, Frankie Jilling, Laura Chiaino, and Lea Jilling. Loving brother of Gloria Cassiola, Florence Leone, and the late Connie Latempa. Proud Korean War Veteran and NY Yankees fan. A devoted and loyal husband, father, and grandfather, Nicky first met his wife, Laura, in Brooklyn, NY, in 1943, where they married ten years later in 1953 and began their family. In addition to his love for his family, Nicky was passionate about his love for the beach, both on Long Island and in Florida. Nicky will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched along his journey. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Thursday, January 5, 2023, 2-4:30 pm & 7-9:30 pm. Funeral mass 11 am Friday, January 6, 2023, Our Lady of Grace RC Church, West Babylon. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
