Norma Estelle Sinclair, fondly known as “Pinks” was born on March 15, 1940, in Kingston Jamaica, W.I. to parents Gwendolyn & Talbert Sinclair, and was the last of eight children. Pinks was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, family member, and friend who maintained tremendous grace and dignity in all facets of her life.
She was educated at Convent of Mercy Alpha Academy in Kingston, Jamaica, W.I. She later met and began dating Robert Domville in Kingston Jamaica in 1960. Pinks migrated to the U.S. with her, mother and siblings in 1961, and eventually married Robert in the Bronx N.Y. in 1963. This union produced three children Sandra, Richard, and Renee.
Besides family, Norma’s relationship with the Lord was the most important thing to her. God gifted her with a wonderful family and a beautiful fulfilling life for which she was thankful. She enjoyed reading her bible and spending time with family and friends.
Being raised in a Christian home with strong family values, Pinks with her new family in a new country proudly began her career as a Lab technician in Jacobi Hospital Bronx, NY from which she retired in 2005. After retiring, she moved to Atlanta with a few of her lifelong friends, Stella, Zippy, and several others to begin the second chapter of their lives. They enjoyed life and all the glories of true friendship, they traveled, entertained, attended church, spent time with family, worked out, shopped, and did the things that they loved…they were a close-knit family. She was a genuine soul who always greeted you with a kind smile, a listening ear, and thoughtful advice.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children Sandra, Richard, and Rene, grandchildren Jeneice, and Damian Jr. along with great-grandchildren Jayvien, Jahcai, Josiah, Jeneice Jr. together with her daughter-in-law Joy, and son-in-law Damian, in addition to an extensive list of family members including loving sisters, cousins, nephews, and nieces. She was blessed with a beautiful life and would be lovingly remembered and missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
