

With profound sadness, we bid farewell to Polly Stein, whose radiant presence graced our lives until she peacefully departed on February 29, 2024. Born in Poland on March 15, 1924, Polly's life was a tapestry woven with love, compassion, and boundless passion.
Polly shared 37 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Samuel Stein. Together, they crafted a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Polly's devotion to her family knew no bounds, and her legacy of love will forever endure.
As a mother, Polly was a beacon of warmth and guidance. She leaves behind her children; Andrew Stein (Wendy), Madaline Krawitsky (Wallace) & Jerry Stein (Roberta), who she nurtured with boundless affection. Polly's heart overflowed with love for her grandchildren: Rebecca, Sarah, Jacob, Samantha, Jessica, Michael, Amanda, and Jonathan. To her great-grandchildren, Norah, Elliot, Julian, Lea, Josie, Andrew, Lauren and Mia, Polly was a source of endless joy and wisdom.
Polly's talents were multifaceted, as she thrived as a schoolteacher, model, and actress. Her zest for life extended beyond her professional pursuits, embracing hobbies such as traveling, indulging in the operatic arts, and cherishing cherished moments with her beloved family.
Her love for the theatrical arts led her to involvement with the theater and the Eastern Star, where her spirit shone brightly, touching the lives of many. Polly's legacy as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother will endure through the generations, a testament to the depth of her love and the richness of her spirit.
In honoring Polly's memory, let us celebrate the beauty of her life and the profound impact she had on all who knew her. Though she may be physically absent, her spirit remains eternally present in the hearts of those who loved her.

A visitation for Polly will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A graveside service will occur Monday, March 4, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Oakwood Cemetery, Brentwood Rd. & Moffitt Blvd.., Bay Shore, NY 11706.
