Richard Joseph Gengler, 62, of West Babylon, Long Island, New York, (formerly of North Massapequa, New York), on October 9, 2012. Beloved husband of Linda. Loving father of Amy Mueck (Andrew), Brian Gengler (Katherine), Jennifer Haugen (Nils) and Kevin Gengler. Caring and devoted grandpa of Sam and Riley Mueck, Haley, Brooke and Charleigh Gengler and Nils Jr. and Lukas Haugen. Proud owner of Kaylee. Family and friends visited Sunday, October 14, 2012, 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:30 PM, at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon Village, New York 11702. Mr. Gengler's Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Babylon Village, New York on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 9:45 AM. Interment followed at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, New York. Donations are appreciated, in his memory, to the Lung Transplant Program at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia.
