Robert Christensen

Robert Christensen, 82, of West Babylon, passed away on October 14, 2025. Beloved husband of 53 years of Constance (Ruh) Christensen. Devoted father of Laura Folgers, Robert Christensen and his wife, Nannette, and Kurt Christensen and his wife, Theresa. Adored grandfather of Carissa, Jenna, Nicholas, Danielle, Matthew, Hanna, and Van. Cherished great-grandfather of Avery, Payton, Bo, and Owen. Dear brother of Linda LaChance. Predeceased by his siblings, Carol Stovall and Carl Christensen, and his loving dog, Humphrey. Robert was a proud US Navy Veteran, a former professional boxer, and before his retirement, worked as a laborer in the 1298 Labor Union. During his life, he participated in many sports. In High School, Robert was a pole vaulter and threw the shot put. Later in life, he was an avid runner, cyclist, triathlete and archer. Robert loved to spend time out in nature, and enjoyed bird watching and hunting. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R.
