Bobby,"my big brother", You made growing up fun. You created a miniature golf course putting game in the back yard when you were working as a caddy. You sang the oldies, "Duke of Earl". You always had a smile and were willing to help others. I'll never forget how proud I felt as you rushed off to help people when the fire siren went off and when you came home on leave from the army, dressed in your uniform. You were there as my protector growing up, making me feel special. I'm glad the tickling you did to me as a little girl got passed down to your children and grandchildren. You loved your family and I know that you will be the angel watching over all of us. I will  miss you and look forward to being together with you in Heaven. Love, your "little sister" Mary

Bob, you have been a part of our entire fire department lives. A true gentleman, friend,co-worker and part of the family. The fire company has lost one of the best. You will be missed. Rest peacefully and watch over your family.

We celebrated our 45th Wedding Anniversary in April, thank you for those wonderful years. You always made me laugh with your antics. Our Children have grown to be a reflection of their Dad. Mr. Decker, You were a fantastic person and friend. We will never forget your energy and sense of humor. You will be sorely missed. Till we meet again.

I have never met a more gracious gentleman in my life than Bob Decker.  We worked together at Robert Moses Middle School.  He lived a dignified life and was a superb human being.  I feel so blessed to have known him.  He will live on in the memories of every life he touched.  I am so sorry for this loss.

My name is Diane Belmont and I worked with Bob at UL. I remember what a nice person he was and also very funny at times. I give my condolences to his wife, children and family!

My grandpa was the best. 
He worked as hard as he can no matter what.
Even though he went through all of this, he made the best of it.

At school he would make my friends and I laugh.
He would come to my soccer games to support my team.

Friends of mine became close to him and considered him as 
a the grandpa they never had.
Robert, George, John, and I would always run around while grandpa tried to tickle us.

My grandpa was strong and kept going. It breaks my heart to know that he is not next to me. But I know he is looking down on me.

I know he is in a better place now and protected.  
Don't shed another tear because even though my grandpa is not here, He is looking down on us and watching out every move.

Grandpa loves us.

This means that life is full of pain but sometimes without some pain we can't succeed.
