After graduating from Amityville High School, Robert worked for the postal service and later pursued his interest in finance by joining an investment company. He developed a deep passion for the stock market, which became his hobby. Robert enjoyed trading insights with people who shared his enthusiasm.
Robert loved dining out and traveling with his devoted wife, Marie. At the Narragansett Villas, he was known for his competitiveness and skill in Texas Hold ’em, where he earned the title of champion more than once.
Robert was a member of the Lindenhurst Historical Society and St. John’s Lutheran Church. His family’s connection to the church spanned generations — his second great-grandfather, Christian F. Wild, was one of its founders, and the Wild family has remained members ever since.
Robert was predeceased by his wife, Marie C. Wild, and is survived by his three daughters, Jeanne (Michael), Christine (Jay), and Marie (John); five grandchildren, Elliana, Gabriella, Allison, John, and Eric; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
