Robert Flint

Robert Flint, a devoted family man and proud veteran, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. He was married to his beloved wife for 54 wonderful years, a bond built on love, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Together, they raised three children—Steven, Stacey, and Kelly—whom he cherished deeply and guided with patience, wisdom, and love.

A proud Vietnam War veteran, Robert honorably served two terms in the U.S. Army. His dedication to his country was matched only by his dedication to his family. After his service, he continued supporting fellow veterans through active involvement in the VA and as a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Robert had a passion for golf and was a talented and avid player. But more than anything, he loved spending time with his family. He was a devoted and beloved "Poppa" whose grandchildren—Alaina, Ryan, Jonathan, Alyssa, James, Patrick, Brianna, and Sean—were the absolute light of his life.

Robert’s warmth, kindness, and steady presence enriched the lives of all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife Lorraine; his children: Steven (Gina), Stacey(Danny), Kelly; his treasured grandchildren, his sister Marian James(Dick, pre-deceased), his in laws who over the course of his marriage became as close as kin: Vivian (Tony), Leo, Carol (John), Elaine (Ruben) as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

His life was a testament to loyalty, service, love, and a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

Visitation services will be held in the Conklin Room on October 18, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Additional visitations will take place on October 19, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, located at 666 Albin Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704, on October 20, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm on October 20, 2025.
