I am so sorry to hear so late that Bob has passed away. I offer my deepest sympathy to the family and friends, and I hope the pain of your loss has shrunk and transformed into wonderful living memories. 

I had once called Bob “Mr. Kjeldsen”, and Bob kindly said to me “Mr. Kjeldsen” is my father’s name; please call me “Bob”. I remember Bob very well through his relationship with my father, John. My dad liked Bob very much. I would occasionally accompany my father to visit Bob at his factory in Lindenhurst. My dad always enjoyed these trips and the trips were always fun and good memories for me. Bob was always very kind to everyone I saw him meet at the factory. Bob was kind to our family and I considered him more like family. Bob attended my dad’s funeral in 1994 which meant very much to me and my siblings. I am so sorry I lost touch with Bob and his family. 

The passing of my friends and loved ones helped bring me into a relationship with God through Jesus, and the news about Bob’s passing is somewhat bitter and sweet to me, as his passing only reaffirms my hope that one day this fallen world will be renewed and never experience any sickness, disease, decay, or death. Every tear will be wiped away and we will remember these losses no more. God bless us all. 


Bob was a friend of my parents. Bob's memorial is certainly accurate. He was truly a devoted friend. Upon hearing of my father's passing, he drove down to Maryland just to make an appearance for his funeral. I remember being struck by his appearance which I knew came at no convenience to him. I will always remember that incredible gesture. Even at the time, it made me wonder about his nature and character. 26 years later, it's made me think of him. Fondly thinking of you. Bob, thank you for everything. Rest in Peace
