Mom, you will be missed by so many people. You would’ve loved how many people came to say goodbye and show their support. We love you. Say hi to everyone up there. Come visit me anytime! I'm so happy we got to spend so many little and big moments together. 

Here is a video of you having your 88th birthday breakfast at one of your favorite places, Glenn's dinette in Babylon.  It was getting harder for you to get there because of the parking and needing to walk so far. So we blocked traffic while you got out, I parked the car and joined you. You had already been greeted by all the staff who missed you. Once they heard it was your birthday, they surprised you by singing happy birthday and having a candle in your panCAKE. Your reaction was beautiful 😍 I love you mom ❤️

Mom I was blessed to be able to call you Mom! You always were there helping me and Joe. You gave Joe the love of the city, all the trips there even if it was the hottest day of the year lol. You always understood me and I would not be who I am today without you !! I am going to miss you so much. I love you so much!

“So much of me is made of what I learned from you” 

I’m not sure I will ever be able to put into words how lucky I feel to have had my grandma in my life. She was unapologetically blunt and you never had to guess what was on her mind (sorry everyone, I got that trait too). She was fiercely independent, which she taught my mom as well. I grew up around strong women who did things by themselves with no fear. So I was never afraid to go to the city or travel by myself because I saw my grandma do it. She taught me to spoil myself on vacations and trips, because as a kid she would spoil all of us. She gave me my love for games, and taught me to be cut throat with no mercy.  She’d be happy to know last night I kicked my brother’s asses at cards.

She was such an amazing example of what family should look like and feel like. She was an amazing example of how to be a genuinely kind person in your everyday life. And I am going to miss her so much. 

Grandma, thank you for giving me such a fun and loving childhood. Thank you for loving me for me. I love you

I just love how happy and beautiful you look here.

You gave me my love for theatre, something we cherished together until the end.

You were always willing to share time with me in my favorite place!

I worked with Rose Marie at Boces and we shared so many knitting n crocheting  ideas n patterns she was a very kind and lovely lady  may she rest in peace🙏

What a special friend and mother!!!  Crafts and knitting drew us together as mothers, parents and friends!  Her heart was always being shared with all her friends and especially special needs children and adults.   Her advice was always welcomed and her home always opened to all.   Fond memories of this special family Tom included!!!!  Rest in peace dear friend.  Love Barbara Derrenbacher

Your time to return to being comfortable has arrived 

Thanks for creating a loving family and keeping me in line as much as you could.

Praying for peace and comfort during this time.  Aunt Rosemarie always made sure family came first.  Although many of us are far away, family is always in our hearts.  Special memories of times together as a family.

We could not have asked for a better older sister!  She managed to balance life’s special events and visitations with her siblings along with raising and nurturing her own family.  Even though she was hours away physically, she was always close at heart.  I will always have fond memories of my summers spent with her and her family on Long Island.  I will miss her deeply.   With love and sympathy to her children, their spouses, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren!!!
