Rose Vallette

Rose Vallette, 103, of West Babylon, formerly of Lindenhurst, entered into Eternal Life on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. One of thirteen children born to the late Gioacchino and Cira (Greco) Di Sclafani, she was born Rosalia Di Sclafani on September 1, 1922, in Manhattan. In 1947, Rose married Pasquale Vallette, and they shared 52 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 1999. She was also predeceased by her beloved son, Thomas, as well as eleven of her siblings. Rose is survived by her devoted daughter, Patricia DiGiuseppi, her loving son-in-law, Peter DiGiuseppi, her cherished grandson, Eric DiGiuseppi, her adored great-granddaughter, Stella DiGiuseppi, and her dear sister, Fay Sorrentino. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that she touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, on Monday, July 6, 2026, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
