

Ruth Ann Krupp passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on May 4, 1951, Ruth Ann spent her life guided by faith, devotion, determination, and a deep love for family and friends. She was a longtime resident of Baldwin, New York.
Ruth Ann attended Catholic schools throughout her childhood, where she developed the strong faith and devotion to God that would remain a cornerstone of her life. Dedicated to lifelong learning, she later attended St. John's University, where she earned her master's degree. During her years there, she formed many lasting friendships and created memories that she treasured throughout her life.
A chance encounter would lead to the greatest blessing of her life. Ruth Ann met her beloved husband, Larry H. Krupp, at a Long Island Railroad bar while commuters awaited delayed trains during a railroad strike. What began as a chance meeting blossomed into a loving marriage that lasted more than 37 years. Together, they built a life founded on love, faith, loyalty, and unwavering companionship.
Ruth Ann and Larry shared many passions. They enjoyed watching movies and spending evenings at the theater, often escaping together into a favorite film or television series. Ruth Ann also loved board games and treasured game nights with friends. Her favorite game was Mille Bornes, and the laughter and camaraderie those gatherings brought were among her happiest moments.
Those who knew Ruth Ann will remember her kind heart, honesty, and thoughtful nature. She was always thinking of others and found joy in caring for those around her. Family and friends admired her determination and strong will. Ruth Ann knew what she wanted from life and never accepted "no" as an answer when pursuing her goals. That spirit guided her through every stage of her life and inspired all who knew her.
Professionally, Ruth Ann worked as an EDP Auditor, where she earned the respect of colleagues for her dedication, integrity, and extraordinary work ethic. She was known as one of the hardest-working individuals in her field.
Ruth Ann was also deeply devoted to her community through her involvement with the Columbiettes and the Knights of Columbus. Her participation in these organizations was one of the most meaningful aspects of her life. She served as President of her Columbiettes council and was honored with recognition as an honorary Knight. Through her years of service, she formed treasured friendships and took great pride in supporting their mission.
Ruth Ann is survived by her brother, Ralph Rehn, and her cherished sisters-in-law, Karen Rehn, Liz Rehn and Nancy Sitone-Schultz. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Larry H. Krupp; her parents, George and Isabel Rehn; and her brother, George Rehn.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, New York 11702.
A Prayer Service will immediately follow from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ruth Ann's legacy of faith, kindness, determination, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
