Terrance Edward Carney, 82, of West Islip, New York, entered into Eternal Life on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Linda Ann, in 2020, after 59 years of marriage. Devoted father of John Terrance Carney and Lynda Ann Degenhadt. Adored grandfather of Alex Degenhardt and Vincent Degenhardt. Cherished brother of Patricia, Timothy, and the late Suzanne. Retired Matinence Supervisor for the Town of Babylon and former volunteer firefighter for the West Islip Fire Department. Terrance enjoyed fishing, automotive restoration, and yard maintenance. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Friday, October 13, 2023, 4-8 p.m.
