Warren M. Forberger, 83, was born on March 25, 1943, in Merrick, New York, and died on August 31, 2026. A longtime resident of Babylon, New York, before retiring to Boynton Beach, Florida, Warren will be remembered with deep respect and enduring gratitude by all who were blessed to know him. His life was marked by steady devotion, a gentle spirit, and a kind-hearted presence that brought comfort without fanfare. In all things, Warren carried himself with quiet honesty and a faithful constancy that family and friends could rely upon without question.
Warren is survived by his beloved wife, Veronica Forberger; his daughters, Kathleen Barbour (Don) and Susan Trama (Anthony); his grandchildren, Jacquelyn (Dan), Daniel (Michelle), Katelyn, Emily, Olivia and his great-grandchildren, Amelia and Liam. Warren was preceded in death by his faithful companion and beloved pet, Lilybelle. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era.
Visitation will be held at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702, on September 14, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 39 N Carll Ave, Babylon, NY 11702, on September 15, 2026, from 10:15 am to 11:15 am.
Warren will be laid to rest at Long Island National Cemetery, Wellwood Ave., Farmingdale, New York, with military honors.
