Charles B. "Chuck" Martinez

Charles Bernard Martinez August 20, 1963 - January 7, 2013 Visitation for Charles Bernard Martinez will be held at Mish Funeral Home (120 Minner Ave.) on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening. Funeral services will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church (900 H St.) on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 10 a.m.; proceeding on to Union Cemetery for burial. Charles Bernard Martinez was born to Charles and Evelyn Martinez on August 20, 1963 in Bakersfield, and left us to cherish his memory on January 7, 2013. He is survived by his soul mate, Stephanie Martinez; sons and daughters, Nicole Martinez, Ashley Harris (husband Nathan); Antonio Martinez (wife, Nichole); Carly Martinez; Charles Martinez; Cory Capps, Cody Capps and Kyle Capps; 4 grandchildren, Lexus, Landon, Lacey and Ava; sister and brother-in-law, Ramona and Keith Horman; and numerous other family members. Charles was a supervisor for Mission Foods for 16 years. He had many friends and loved spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, excellent father and great Pop-Pop.
