David was so much more than a cousin to our family. He was like a big brother to me and my brothers and sisters, and someone who was always there for my parents—especially my dad. He was family in every sense of the word, and his presence brought a kind of love and energy that will never be forgotten.
David was always willing to help. If someone needed a helping hand, he was there. He had a way of bringing good energy wherever he went, and he could be the life of a party, making people laugh and filling a room with his presence. He loved to eat, and he was always grateful for whatever he had, finding appreciation in the simple things.
Life was not always kind to David. He had his struggles and his difficult moments, as we all do, but those moments do not define the entirety of who he was. Beneath everything was a person who loved his family, who knew how to make people smile, and who gave what he could to the people around him.
I wish this life had been kinder to him. I wish he could have known just how deeply he was loved and how many people will miss him. I pray that God sees his heart, knows his struggles, and grants him the forgiveness and peace he deserves.
David was a son, a father, a brother, a cousin, and a friend. To us, he was also the big brother who was always there, the person who helped when he could, and a part of our family that can never be replaced.
We will remember his laughter, his energy, his generosity, his love for family, and all the moments that made him David. His life may have had hardships, but his story was also filled with love, family, laughter, and memories that we will carry with us forever.
Rest peacefully, David. May you finally have the peace that this world could not always give you. You will always be loved, always be remembered, and forever be a part of our family.
Until we meet again, may you rest in eternal peace.
