Frank Bass Jarvis Jr.

December 3, 1933 - February 14, 2012

Frank Bass Jarvis, Jr. was born in Richmond, California on December 3, 1933. He was raised in the Bay area and moved to Southern California in 1952, at whcih time he joined the U.S. Marines. While on leave from the Marines, he visited North Hollywood, stopped in a small restaurant for a quick lunch and met the waitress, Maxine Kerns. They were married in 1954. This marriage produced two children, Vicki Jarvis Nikola of Valencia, California and Vance Jarvis of Lebec. Frank also has 2 grandchildren. Frank lived and worked in the North Hollywood area for over 50 years. After he and Maxine retired, they moved to Lebec to live near their son. Frank did not get to spend much time in his Lebec home as he was in and out of nursing homes for the past serveral years. Graveside services will be at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Cemetery, North Holywood, California on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 11:30 a.m.
