My condolences to the rest of the family.  We lost a good-hearted person.  Tia Josefina was always supportive of me during my first years of marriage.  I will carry her in my heart.  May she rest in peace in Jesus' arms.

mi madrecita querida..tu eres mi primer corazon en este mundo y mas. my mom you have always been my light in this dark world. you always gave me guidance and love and understanding even when I didn't understand myself. The heart that you carried you left to each one of my loved ones and I see it in the way they care ,understand and forgive.you taught us all what determination looks like and how to never stay down even when everything doesn't seem fair. I remember since I was a lil boy how you looked at me with love even when everyone shook their head cause I looked like trouble.lol.I never missed a meal cause you always kept us fed and taken care of with a roof over our heads..it must have been hard taking care of us all alone in this land that wasn't your world but you crossed the mountains and even while you were pregnant..how hard that must have been..in this world to me you are considered one of the greats cause you never cheated, stole or betrayed anyone and you always kept your integrity.one thing I always known about you is you kept your door always open to each one of us, ready with a hot meal and man was your food good..I pray for you my mother like we did together and hope that the lil ones one day find that spirit in themselves that you carried for so long.you went through so much in this world and I pray that you are finally at rest and at peace and reunited with your first born beautiful boy Jaime..I'm proud of you mom you are my heart and your legacy of who you are is still in all of us ..in our hearts ,in our smiles ,in our dimples,in our eyes that still reflect your beauty...I will miss your hugs and the way you let me always kiss your beautiful face....I miss you mi mami..te extraño con tantas lágrimas ..

She was my Grandpa Domingo’s Sister. As a little girl I remember him saying great things about her and he loved her so much. She was so sweet to me the times I saw her in Sunnyside and I’ll always remember her High heeled boots ❤️❤️ She’s unforgettable! To her Children & Grandchildren, you all had an Amazing Mother & Grandma 🩷

My Aquarian soul and most favorite Ochoa Tia!!! My first memory of meeting her was eating her food, she cooked  meals with love you felt while eating! 
Tia made me feel special with a birthday cake, made my first communion dress, styled my hair and forever instilling love for dressing up and learned how to sew. 
Tia  especially showed me that in life, there is resilient valor that we posses to get us through any beatings, break ups  and hardship it brings. Unapologetically herself,  like dancing to get through her knee recovery, and telling me to do the same! It’s working Tia!!!!
 I am forever grateful she had a great friendship with my dad and someone to talk with during her chemo. I know he will miss them greatly. And I too will miss  our candid  talks and Birthday calls where advice reciprocated most.
