Melvin Thomas Fowler

Melvin Thomas Fowler January 1, 1938 - August 24, 2012 Mel was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Cora Fowler. Son, Mark Fowler, Grandson, Garrin Willman, and 4 siblings. He is survived by wife, Jodie, children; Noelle, Erin and husband Gary and Cori, grandchildren; Haylee, Alex, Taylor and Jaxon; sister, Shirley; special cousin and best buddy, John and mother-in-law, Agnes along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mel was kind and selfless, doing everything he could to make life easier for his family. He loved to see you smile and he usually did this by singing, telling countless jokes/stories and cooking for you. His favorite things to do were spending time with his family, camping, eating hotdogs and cruising the car lots with his best bud, John. He just loved you...this is what he did best! Visitation will be held at Mish Funeral Home (120 Minner Ave): Thursday, August 30th from 4-8pm. Funeral Services will be held at Mish Funeral Home: Friday, August 31st at 10am. Followed by graveside services at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A celebration of Mel's life will be held at Crossover Baptist Church (18210 Rosedale Hwy) immediately following.
