Staci Anne Holcomb

March 21, 1988 – September 21, 2012

Staci was born in Bakersfield where she lived all her life. She was preceded in death by her mother, Amberin Louise Halbrook, and her baby brother, Steven Matthew Grider. Staci leaves behind her beloved son Hayden Scott Francis (7 years old); her beloved dad, Dean Dunsmore; her grandparents, Ernie and Freeda Kartinen; sisters, Brianne Holcomb, Shaina Holcomb, Haylie Halbrook, Kylie Halbrook; brothers, Brandon Grider and Melvin Dunsmore; step-father Mike Halbrook; aunts and uncles, Bobby Massey, whom she loved dearly, Jason and Michelle Maples, Marty Loretta Zaninovich, Austin and Darlene Davidson, Tina Massey, Kim Kartinen; nieces Sara, Ensley, Paisley; and nephew Brayden; numerous cousins and loads of friends. Staci was very, very sick, but she was getting help. She had plans to take her son Hayden to her sisters and to the beach. Staci had touched a lot of family members and friends’ lives. She was so beautiful, but she didn’t think so. Words cannot express our loss. We loved Staci so much. We were so proud of her getting help on her own. She will be forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 2, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Mish Funeral Home Oildale (120 Minner Ave). Graveside services will be Wed., Oct. 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Hillcrest Memorial Park (9101 Kern Canyon Rd.).
