William "Willie" Scott Lopez 1988 - 2010 William was born April 24, 1988 in Bakersfield CA, beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and uncle died on Dec. 19, 2010. Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at Mish Funeral Home Chapel (120 Minner Ave) from 4-8 p.m., with the Rosary cited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Dec. 27, 2010 at St. Augustine's Catholic Church (10601 Myrtle Ave) in Lamont at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Arvin Cemetery (15543 S. Vineland). William was a 2006 graduate of Arvin H.S. Since middle school he received awards for most valuable player and best offensive player. He loved playing sports and was a huge Yankee and 49er fan. Recently he had enlisted in the United States Air Force. His devotion was family and friends. William is survived by his mother, Georgia Lopez; father, Nick Lopez and stepmother, Deanna Lopez; brothers, Nick Lopez Jr., Tyler Leal, Christopher Leal; sister, Mariah Armijo; stepbrothers, Eric Hale, Trent Hale; grandfather, Willie Lopez; stepgrandmother, Manuela Lopez; nephew, Jacob Lopez; nieces, Cheyenne and Savannah Lopez; best friend and fiancee to be, Stephanie Torres; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
