On May 6, 2012 CARL M.SHUMATE, Jr., 81, of Ormond Beach Fl., loving wife of 62 years of Lillian M. Shumate (nee Anderson); devoted father of Carl M. Shumate, Carol M. Shumate and her significant other Manny Couturiaux; cherished grandfather of Nicole L. Baldwin and Brittany N. Elgin; great – grandfather of A.J. Baldwin and Alexa L. Grimmette; dear brother of Henry Wayne Shumate and Beatrice “Boots” Brewer. Carl is predeceased by his parents Carl and Nellie.
