On November 3, 2025 Douglass "Doug" Fitz passed away. He was the beloved significant other of Ruth Kraeger; devoted son of the late Julian Oliver Charles Fitz and Helen Alice Fitz (nee Szlachetka); dear brother of Rodney Fitz and his wife Laura, and the late William L. Pinder and his late wife Helen; loving uncle of William Pinder, Jr., Michael Pinder, David Pinder, Bernadette Pinder, Kara Zimmerman (Nee Fitz), and Andrea Fitz; he is also survived by many close friends.
A Celebration of Doug's life will be held at Hard Yacht Cafe, 8500 Cove Rd. Dundalk, MD 21222, on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 12-4 PM.
A Celebration of Doug's life will also be held at Squire's Restaurant, 6723 Holabird Ave. Baltimore, MD 21222, date and time TBD.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Doug's name can be made to the Baltimore Humane Society, 1601 Nicodemus Rd. Reisterstown, MD 21136, (www.bmorehumane.org).
