Words can not touch the sadness I feel .My Nor Nor was my lighthouse in the storm .She had a front row seat in my life cheering me every step of the way .We spent so much time together I often told her how much she meant to me and that our time together was something I cherished .She was so loved by my family and an important part of our life .Saying she will be missed is an understatement.She talked me down ,she talked me up ,and gave me some of the best advice I've ever gotten .But I often told her the best thing she ever did was invite me to church .I was saved ,born again ,and baptized in the Woodberry Church of Brethren right beside her .Some of my most cherished memories are washing her feet at Love feast and communion .I will see her again that is for sure .

Heaven has gained an Angel.  I loved me some Nor Nor.  Neighbors since I was born.  Just a beautiful soul who will surely be missed.  My thoughts, hugs, love and prayers to John, Jen & Nate.

I will miss my dear Elnora so much. We worked together for over 10 years and hit it off right away to became great friends. We kept in touch after I retired and met for lunch about once a month for the past 12 years. My heart is broken 💔

I was so blessed to have beautiful Elnora as a very close, lifelong friend.  She is now in bright glory, and will be greatly missed.  But we will all be together again one day.  My deepest sympathy to John,  Jenny, Nate, Elaine and the rest of the family.  

My dear sweet friend you will be truly missed.  Heaven has gained a sweet soul.  Until we meet again❤

Elnora was a beautiful Christian woman who attended the Woodberry Church of the Brethren at W. 36th and Poole Streets.  Always faithful in her attendance for services, Love Feast and Communion, or any  service held.  She served as a Sunday School and VBS teacher.  Made the most wonderful desserts for our luncheons and dinners.  Always sat in the third pew on the left next to the wall.  No one ever sat there, that was Elnora's place.   "Count Your Blessings" was her favorite hymn.  She will be missed.  She is now enjoying a life without pain but rejoicing in her new life.
