On Thursday, March 13, 2025, Frank G. Alexander, Jr. passed away. He was the father of Michael W. Alexander and his wife Kimberly, David W. Alexander, Sr. and his wife Susan, Charles “Sonny” W. Alexander and his wife Linda, Russell W. Alexander and his wife Valerie, and Christine W. Gallion and her husband Richard; grandfather of Ashley, Amanda, Courtney, Isabella, David Jr., Joshua, Derrick, Alison, Megan, Tori, Alaina, Reagan, Ashley and Ricky; great grandfather of Michael, McKenzie, Aubrey, Brooklyn and William; great great grandfather of Bradley and soon to be Walker; son of the late Frank G. Alexander, Sr. and Ruth Alexander; brother of the late James Robert Alexander and many other half siblings.
Frank was a man of unwavering conviction, whose stubborn nature was both a defining trait and a source of fond memories for those who knew him. A proud Korean War veteran, he carried the resilience from those years into every aspect of his life. He enjoyed simple pleasures, like playing 10-pin bowling with his children, though his competitive spirit often made him a sore loser. His career as a tow truck driver kept him on the go, always with his walkie-talkie in hand and a notepad nearby, ready to take on the next call. Whether he was hauling cars or cracking a joke, Frank had a way of making his presence felt, and he will be remembered for his relentless determination, sharp wit, and no-nonsense approach to life.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a memorial gathering at the Burgee Henss Seitz Funeral Home, Inc., 3631 Falls Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21211 on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm.
A private interment will take place on a later date at Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, MD.
