On January 30, 2015 George Herman Prietz passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Thomsen); dear son of the late Herman and Emma Prietz; devoted father to Michael Thomsen and his wife Barbara, Kathryn Scheerer and her husband Raymond, Suzanne Jakubowski, Douglas Prietz and his wife Marie and Brian Prietz; devoted brother of the late Catherine Williar, Mary Rone, Robert and Irvin Prietz; dear grandfather of Lisa, Raymond, Gregory, Ashlee and Sarah and great grandfather of Colt, Luke and Reagan. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Charles S. Zeiler and Son Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm with interment to follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery.
