home on Nov. 29, 2012. He was 42 years old. Jeffrey was born in
Baltimore on January 20, 1970, lived elsewhere for many years until
2004 when he returned to Baltimore to stay.
He was employed by May's Chapel Wine and Spirits in Timonium. Prior
to his last employment, he worked in several of Baltimore's fine
dining establishments. He was also active in volunteer work for
Moveable Feast.
He is survived by his life partner of 13 years, Alan Haley of
Baltimore; his mother Dorothy L. Holmes of Wilson, NC; his father Joe
Lee Holmes of Las Vegas, NV; his brother Kenneth Holmes of Anchorage,
AK; 3 uncles and 2 aunts, many cousins, and many loving friends.
A memorial service will be held in Wilson, NC, on Sunday Dec. 9 at 5
p.m. at the Calvary Presbyterian Church. Charitable donations in his
memory may be made to Moveable Feast of Baltimore, MD.
