On April 4, 2015, Melvin Ross Hammerbacher, Sr., passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Joyce Hammerbacher (nee Sollish); devoted father of Claire Hammerbacher, Bonnie Bonomo and her husband Michael, Mark Hammerbacher and his wife Becky, and Melvin Hammerbacher, Jr.; cherished father-in-law of Janice Schulze; dear brother-in-law of Laurie Chambers; loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Melvin was preceded in death by his 3 brothers and their wives. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and their families.
Relatives and friends may gather at Miller-Dippel Funeral Home 6415 Belair Rd., Baltimore, Md 21206, on Wednesday April 8th from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11am at the funeral home. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
